What is the closest fire station to my house?

Eastland Fire Dept. operates out of 1 station located at 414 S. Seaman Eastland.  We are located in the central area of the city of a quick response to all areas of the city.

Who do I call to report illegal fireworks use?

This would be a law enforcement issue, it would be best to report to the dispatch center at (254)629-1728

What job opportunities are available with FD?

The Eastland Fire Dept. is made up of 4 paid staff and 25 volunteer firefighters.  We are always taking applications for volunteers.  As far as a full time paid position, when one comes available it will be posted on TCFP website as well as city website.

How do I get a fire report?

An open records request must be made through City Hall,  the report will then be generated and made available.

Can I file a report about an incident online?

Not at this time.

How do I check my smoke detector?

Most all smoke detectors have a test button.  Press the button and hold it.  If detector dose not beep, then there is a problem.  (Check your Battery)

Do you give fire extinguisher training?

We do provide fire extinguisher training at no cost.  If interested contact the fire station.  (254)-629-8232

Can I volunteer as a Firefighter in Eastland?

EFD is made up mainly of volunteers,  We are always looking for new members.  Come by the station or call for more information.
